SUMMARY

The Radiology Technologist (X-ray Technologist) provides on-site diagnostic imaging services at the Yakama Service Unit . ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Perform various radiographic procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols and radiology procedures.
  • Ensure image quality, proper positioning, and completeness of all diagnostic exams.
  • Accurately and timely document imaging procedures, patient information, and results within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Comply with all applicable clinical, safety, and HIPAA requirements, as well as Indian Health Service (IHS) and facility-specific policies.
  • Participate in administrative duties on designated days (Thursdays), including quality assurance activities, training, and equipment maintenance.
