If that sounds good to you, please apply!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cstrong%3EPrimary Responsibilities%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3EAs an employee-owner in this Rail Construction Manager role, we’ll count on you to%5C:%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EManage of all aspects of the delivery of rail construction projects with clients, designer, and construction management teams.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EServe as the internal lead and primary client point of contact for assigned rail construction projects.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EReview and verify rail construction plans, specifications, schedule, and estimate packages.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETravel to project locations for ongoing and upcoming projects.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESupport Construction Management and Resident Engineering services to grow and develop inspector/coordinator teams.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EServe as a technical leader in the development and execution of construction activities for major company programs.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPlan, organize and supervise work of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians both in the office and in the field.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELead and/or participate in the development of marketing, contractual, and production documents and meetings, including project scope, budget, and schedule, as well as the development of cost estimates based on design criteria, project guides, and project controls.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPlan, organize, and coordinate with technical, clerical, and subconsultant professionals on multi-disciplinary teams to manage and/or coordinate workloads throughout the entire project%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETrack financial aspects of projects, coordinate and adjust work effort with the team.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMonitor Contractor Quality Documents (QC test reports, contractor Quality Management Plan (QMP), material certifications, testing equipment calibrations, material supplier information, etc.).%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETrack submittals and requests for information (RFI) including tracking of submission dates, version control, response dates and comment tracking.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMonitor storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) compliance.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EUnderstand and monitor for compliance with FRA 49 CFR 214 - Roadway Worker rules, FRA 49 CFR 219 – Control of Alcohol and Drug Use rules, and eRailSafe.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork with Business/Accounting/Management teams for project reviews.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in client and stakeholder visits, site visits, field assessments, and construction inspections as needed.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EApply industry experience to strengthen the team to deliver excellent technical work.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMentor younger staff and support continued development.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork across industries with rail, industrial, terminal, utility, agency, DOT, port, transit, and other industry clients.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETravel more than 50% of the time%26nbsp;%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EPreferred Qualifications%3C/strong%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EEngineering degree%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESoftware proficiency in MicroStation, Inroads, and AutoCAD.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with topographic field surveying (GPS and/or Total Station).%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EFamiliarity with local freight client design manuals for public projects.%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience working with AREMA’s Manual for Railway Engineering and/or other railroad design guidelines, specifications, and criteria.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExpertise with freight rail client guidelines, policies, and practices for construction management services (from pre-construction through close-out).%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESWPPP SP Certificate (QSD preferred).%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EExperience with rail, industrial, or transit clients is strongly preferred%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3C/div%3E
