If you want to make a real difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you – even if you’ve never worked in Social Care before.
At Norfolk First Response our reablement approach supports individuals to do things for themselves. We use techniques that support retraining or regaining skills and building confidence to maximise their independence for a period of up to 6 weeks.
What does the role involve?
You will assist and support individuals in their home with tasks to enable them to regain their independence. This may include personal care, medication administration, supervising transfers and mobility, nutritional and hydration needs.
What we’re looking for:
- A caring, empathetic person who wants to be the difference in someone’s life
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (to visit people in their homes)
- No previous experience required – we’ll provide full training
We have part time hours available based across East Norfolk, on a rota that balances mornings (7:30am–2pm or 8am–2:30pm) and evenings (4:30pm–9pm or 5pm–10pm). Hours are averaged over two weeks, giving you the ability to plan ahead and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Hours to be discussed with candidates at interview.
