About the role

The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting, guiding, and empowering the Sales Team to achieve their individual and collective goals. This role focuses on providing the tools, training, and leadership needed for agents to perform at their best, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

With a strong emphasis on sales management, recruitment, training, marketing, and system implementation, the position ensures the Sales Team is equipped to consistently deliver high performance and drive business growth.

The role also provides strategic oversight and support to the Administration department, ensuring processes align with the needs of the Sales division, without managing day-to-day operations. Compliance responsibilities are limited to sign-off requirements, instructions, and advice, relating to trust compliance, commissions, listings, and contracts.

This position is central to creating an environment where agents feel supported to excel, goals are consistently achieved, and the company’s growth objectives are realised. These activities are to be in support of brand representation, corporate image, best practice and growth, in line with our values and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sales operations and performance in line with budgets, KPIs, and financial targets; contribute to annual budgeting and manage costs, debt collection, and branch expenditure.
  • Lead and support sales and sales support staff through effective rostering, leave planning, performance management, coaching, and training to achieve team and branch goals.
  • Support recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction processes in partnership with the People & Culture team.
  • Lead workplace health and safety initiatives, ensure compliance with policies and legislation, and promote a safe work environment through proactive risk management and reporting.
  • Contribute to branch business planning, foster a collaborative team culture, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

About you:

  • Experience in Real estate sales
  • leadership and/or business management​
  • current real estate registration (license highly desirable)
  • Elders Leadership Development Program (Elders training provided).​
  • High communication, influencing & negotiation skills.​
  • Sound computer skills.​
  • Able to understand customer needs and priority ​
