Reality Capture & BIM Specialist, Senior
The Opportunity:
Plan and execute reality capture activities supporting Digital Twin development initiatives. Collect, process, and maintain LiDAR, photogrammetry, and other spatial datasets used to create BIM and geospatial products. Develop and maintain workflows for point cloud registration, scan-to-BIM conversion, and BIM model generation. Support integration of facility and infrastructure data into Digital Twin environments through creation and maintenance of accurate spatial representations. Collaborate with GIS, software development, and engineering teams to support visualization, analysis, and planning capabilities. Assist with technical coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement of Digital Twin data acquisition workflows.
You Have:
5+ years of experience supporting BIM, reality capture, and surveying, geospatial, architecture, engineering, or construction technology projects
Experience processing LiDAR, photogrammetry, or point cloud datasets
Experience developing and maintaining BIM models using Revit
Experience performing point cloud registration, cleanup, and quality assurance activities
Experience generating and maintaining IFC or BIM exchange formats
Knowledge of BIM workflows, scan-to-BIM methodologies, and reality capture technologies
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Geomatics, Surveying, Geographic Information Systems, or Computer Science
Nice If You Have:
Experience using Revit, Autodesk Recap, Leica Cyclone, Faro Scene, DJI Terra, Pix4D, RealityCapture, or similar reality capture platforms
Experience processing terrestrial or drone-based LiDAR datasets
Experience developing Digital Twin, facility visualization, infrastructure modeling, or geospatial visualization solutions
Experience generating DEMs, orthomosaics, and spatial products from LiDAR or photogrammetry datasets
Experience supporting facility management, military installation planning, construction, engineering, or infrastructure programs
Experience integrating BIM assets into Unity, Unreal Engine, or other visualization platforms
Knowledge of GIS concepts, coordinate systems, georeferencing, and spatial data management
Secret clearance
Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Geomatics, Surveying, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
