We\u2019re looking for a Reality TV Writer who can dive into unscripted content, from buzz\-worthy new reality shows to fan\-favorite franchises, and write compelling features, recaps, opinion pieces, and timely news stories that cut through the noise.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities: <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Write 4\u20135 articles a day, including explainers, news hits, and feature pieces.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Cover US reality TV trends, cast updates, controversies, and viral moments with strong research and contextual insight.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Stay on top of daily US reality TV news and social media conversations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Be familiar with Google Trends and use it to find timely, searchable angles.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Pitch smart story ideas regularly.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Be responsive to editorial feedback.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Be available for real\-time coverage when relevant news or episodes drop.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field (preferred).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • 1+ years of experience writing about reality TV, pop culture, or celebrity news.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Strong grasp of entertainment industry terms, story formats, and tone.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Experience pitching and writing timely coverage that connects with audiences.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

    • Excellent time management and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
