Realty Specialist

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Recent Graduates to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a developmental Realty Specialist position for USACE Omaha District. Work will increase in difficulty as incumbent is promoted to higher grade levels.

Obtains leases and other real property interests required within the military and civil boundaries of the Omaha District.

Examines and analyzes public records, appraisal reports, right of way maps and title evidence to identify matters affecting negotiations.

Issues, manages and terminates out-grants (leases, easements, licenses, permits, consents, oil and gas offers, etc.) for all military and civil works projects.

Conducts compliance inspections of out-granted property to determine whether terms of the document are being met.
