What this opportunity involves:

As a Workplace Ambassador at JLL, you'll be the face of hospitality for one of our client locations based in North Sydney, delivering an exceptional front-of-house experience that leaves a lasting impression. You'll own the day-to-day operation of the welcome reception desk and orchestrate every touchpoint of the guest journey—from pre-arrival coordination through to departure. This role is about creating moments that matter: ensuring every visitor, client, and employee feels genuinely welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive. Working collaboratively with the workplace services team, you'll demonstrate a deep understanding of guest needs and consistently exceed expectations. You'll also support meeting and event logistics, manage visitor compliance systems, and maintain immaculate front-of-house spaces that reflect the highest standards of professionalism. An Overview of the role:

  • Deliver exceptional reception and front-of-house services, creating a positive and professional first impression for all guests, clients, and visitors
  • Manage visitor registration and check-in ensuring full compliance with health and safety, legal, and security protocols
  • Act as an in-person concierge, providing information about the local area, office facilities & building amenities
  • Support event hosts with guest registrations, check-ins, and arrivals to ensure seamless and well-coordinated experiences
  • Provide support for conferences by coordinating conference room booking and preparing conference rooms for meetings, including ordering catering as required
  • Assist in financial processes to ensure that all financial management requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage mailroom operations and incoming deliveries, maintaining clear communication channels and high service standards throughout the process
  • Maintain a polished, uncluttered reception desk and waiting areas in line with global presentation standards, ensuring all front-of-house spaces reflect professionalism and hospitality excellence
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a corporate office environment with exposure to front-of-house or guest-facing responsibilities
  • Strong customer service background in a dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Intermediate IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a collaborative team mindset, with the ability to build positive working relationships across diverse teams
  • Professional presentation and demeanour, with the ability to maintain composure, discretion, and a welcoming presence at all times
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage projects independently, and consistently meet deadlines
