Receptionist

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a welcoming, organized, and customer-focusedReceptionistto serve as the first point of contact for our organization. The ideal candidate will greet visitors, manage incoming calls, and perform a variety of administrative tasks to support day-to-day front office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to appropriate staff or departments.

  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

  • Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and manage meeting room bookings.

  • Provide basic information about the company’s services, policies, and procedures.

  • Maintain visitor logs and ensure adherence to security protocols.

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.

  • Support other departments with clerical duties as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training or certifications are a plus.

  • Proven experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

  • Dependable and punctual.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using multi-line phone systems or scheduling software.

  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers.
