Receptionist (Part-Time)

Position Summary:

The Chemico Group is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This is a shared role — the Receptionist will work closely with another receptionist to ensure the front desk is covered during business hours and that all responsibilities are handled efficiently. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for guests and supporting daily office operations for our team.

Experience &Qualifications

  • One to three years of receptionist, customer service, administrative support, or office experience preferred.
  • Experience operating a multi-line phone system is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic computer applications.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a shared receptionist to ensure seamless office coverage.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules and provide coverage for the alternate receptionist during planned or unexpected absences, including occasional remote phone support.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Reliable high-speed internet access for remote phone coverage when needed.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.
Additional coursework or training in office administration or customer service is a plus, but not required.

Work Hours:

This is a part-time, shared position. Specific work hours and schedule rotation will be discussed during the interview process.
