We are seeking a professional, dedicated full-time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors in our New York City office.

Overview

This role supports front-desk operations, client communication, and administrative needs across the firm. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced public accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities

These responsibilities are required but not limited to:

• Front Desk & Phones — Greet visitors, manage check-ins, answer and route calls.
• Client Support — Assist with document drop-offs and direct general inquiries.
• Scheduling — Manage conference room calendars and meeting setup. Register visitors with building security; submit service requests to building maintenance as needed; activate card keys.
• Mail & Documents — Process incoming/outgoing mail, scanning, and courier coordination, when needed.
• Admin Support — Maintain a log of assigned lockers and desk equipment (keyboard and mouse); replenish pantry supplies and restock snacks in the fridge on the 15th and 16th floors.
• Supplies & Vendors — Monitor inventory and place on-line orders with vendors such as WB Mason; order weekly milk and yogurts via Instacart.
• Meeting Meals — Order breakfast and lunch for designated internal and client meetings, ensuring timely delivery and appropriate setup.
• Tax Season Assistance — Support increased client traffic and extended hours January–April.
• Events & Onboarding — Help with office events, and new-hire setup.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and client-service skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and office equipment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Experience in a CPA or professional services firm preferred
