Recovery House Coordinator (51823)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Recovery House Coordinator will oversees the daily operations of a sober living residence, ensures compliance with house rules, supports residents in their recovery goals, maintains a safe and structured environment, and coordinates administrative and facility management activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct resident orientations and explain house rules.
  • Monitor compliance with house policies and recovery expectations.
  • Address conflicts between residents and help resolve disputes.
  • Document incidents, rule violations, and resident concerns.
  • Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs.
  • Encourage participation in recovery programs, meetings, and treatment plans.
  • Help residents connect with community resources, employment services, and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor progress and communicate with treatment providers when appropriate and authorized.
  • Provide peer support while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Ensure the residence is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Schedule and monitor household chores.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of household supplies.
  • Conduct regular house inspections.
  • Enforce substance-free policies.
  • Administer or coordinate drug and alcohol screenings if required by program policies.
  • Respond to emergencies and critical incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and resident records according to applicable laws and policies.
  • Keep accurate records and reports.
  • Collect rent or program fees if part of the role.
  • Track occupancy and bed availability.
  • Communicate with owners, directors, case managers, or treatment providers.
  • Assist with budgeting and purchasing supplies.
  • Facilitate house meetings.
  • Model positive recovery behavior and accountability.
  • Foster a respectful, recovery-focused community culture.
  • Support residents in developing life skills and independent living skills.
  • Assists other WestCare staff as needed to promote cooperation and portray a professional image to the community
  • Embraces and embodies the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
