Recreation Assistant (Outdoor) NF-02

Operating a point-of-sale system; answering phones; responding to customer inquiries; and addressing customer service matters related to our facility and other MWR facilities.

Operating a 15-passenger van with an attached trailer on back roads; loading and unloading kayaks and associated equipment.

Leading hiking, kayaking, climbing, and other outdoor recreation trips as designated mission-essential activities. Facilitating high ropes course activities at height and routinely setting new routes on the climbing wall on a weekly basis.

Supporting mission-essential special events, including large-scale programs such as Pop Goes the Fort in October.

Conduct routine safety inspections of the ropes course, including rope logs, TruBlue units, life jackets, harnesses, and government vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational readiness.
