RECREATION SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement, and carry out a large, enhanced dependent youth sports and fitness program for youth ages 5 - 18 in the Mildenhall/Lakenheath military community.

Prepares youth, coaches, officials, staff and parents for specific activities and events, evaluates results from youth activities and proposes changes. Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Actively provides guidance and leadership to the various youth sports and fitness and instructional classes contracted, base wide activities and participants. Develops youth sports and fitness and instructional classes/programs. Coordinates volunteer program to support youth sports program.
