Regional Field Marketing Manager

Position Summary
The Regional Event /Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for managing a team of
Event/Retail Marketing Managers and Event/Retail Marketers within their designated
region. This individual is accountable for their direct report’s performance, the ability to
exceed revenue targets, budget maintenance, and the successful execution and
operations of the Event Marketing Department.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and drive event/retail-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads
for sales representative follow-up
• Identify, schedule, and plan event calendar for team of Event Marketers and Managers in assigned region
• Responsible for budgeting and staffing for identified local events
• Attend Big Box Retail Store, trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and
community events and manage the event marketing team in generating new sales
leads
• Manage event/retail marketing material and equipment set up and tear down
• Collaborate with Leadership Team to grow brand presence within the local assigned
region
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop District Event/Retail Marketing <Managers and
Event/Retail Marketers to create accountability through established Event/Retail
Marketing goals and KPIs
• Develop Timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for
cohesiveness and transparency across the organization
• Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events
• Responsible for exceeding sales lead quotas based on established KPIs
• Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and
experience
• 5+ years of experience of successful multi-unit management positions in direct-to
consumer industries
• Strong recruiting and training skills
• Experience with large-scale budgeting and planning, with a proven track record of
managing on a multi-unit or regional level, sales management experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to manage and develop others
• Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time
• Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail
• Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing
• Travel within the assigned territory as needed
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and pre-scheduled events
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to/from assigned events
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus as needed to meet business
needs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a hands on
approach
• Strong active listening and communication skills
• Detail-orientate with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
• Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing
• Previous management position(s) in Direct-to-Consumer marketing
• Experience in multi-unit management
• Previous experience in home improvement event marketing


Travel Requirements
• 50% travel required
