Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the marketing of ABB’s offerings to targeted market segments and manage the offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with market needs and division/product group/business line strategy and targets. Each day, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of an offer. You will also showcase your marketing skill by supporting business results by overseeing each step involved in the offer lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

This role contributes to the Motion Business Area – Drive Products
Main stakeholders: Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Regional Leadership Teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Conducting market intelligence analysis and identifying potential gaps in the portfolio, with respect to the competition and new market opportunities.
Owning technical and market specification for the offer and determining an offering business plan that supports sustainable growth while executing customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, and following-up on portfolio performance.
Managing the offer lifecycle management process, analyzing current offers, defining, and tracking performance metrics, and making decisions on offer obsolescence and end-of-life to ensure that current and future market requirements are met to maximize profitability.
Setting targets, monitoring offering costs and giving inputs to operations functions (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
Qualifications for the role
10+ years of experience in product management and sales within the Drive Products domain.
Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics.
Experience in technical and commercial aspects of industrial drives and related solutions.
Adept ability to manage internal stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional collaboration.
Advanced skills in lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and market analysis.
Comfortable with 50% travel within the region.
Skilled communication skills in English and an additional regional language.
