Regional Recruitment Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Recruitment Manager based in India.

This role is a high-impact, field-facing position focused on driving international student recruitment across India and the wider South Asia region. You will act as the regional ambassador for a globally recognized higher education institution, building and nurturing strategic partnerships with schools, recruitment agents, and key stakeholders. The role blends sales, marketing, and relationship management with strong operational execution, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery. You will lead recruitment initiatives such as events, webinars, and campus engagements while ensuring strong conversion outcomes. Working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, you will collaborate closely with global teams to align regional efforts with international enrollment goals. This position offers significant autonomy, frequent travel, and the opportunity to directly shape access to global education for thousands of students.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for driving regional student recruitment performance by developing strong partner networks, executing outreach strategies, and ensuring enrollment targets are met. This includes representing the institution across India and South Asia, managing recruitment activities, and ensuring consistent engagement with prospective students and partners.

  • Represent the institution at recruitment events, school visits, webinars, and education fairs across the region
  • Build and manage relationships with recruitment partners, schools, universities, and feeder institutions
  • Drive lead generation and application conversion through targeted outreach and engagement initiatives
  • Oversee event planning, logistics, communications, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide accurate guidance to prospective students on admissions requirements, timelines, and processes
  • Monitor recruitment performance, track KPIs, and report outcomes using structured data and insights
  • Support alumni engagement initiatives and contribute to strengthening regional brand visibility
  • Ensure alignment of all activities with institutional recruitment strategies and compliance standards
  • Requirements

    This role requires strong experience in international education recruitment or related sales-driven environments, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver against enrollment targets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, persuasive, and comfortable working independently across diverse regional markets.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification
    • 5+ years of experience in international student recruitment, education sales, or related sectors
    • Strong understanding of international higher education systems and student conversion processes
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed enrollment or sales targets
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English
    • Experience working with education agents, institutions, or international student pipelines
    • Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills (including Excel proficiency)
    • Willingness to travel extensively across India and occasionally internationally
    • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working autonomously in field-based roles
    • Experience using CRM systems and digital engagement tools
