Regional Sales Support Executive

Job Summary

Support regional corporate account teams by managing after-sales care, pricing proposals, and data analysis to drive business development and revenue growth in the freight forwarding industry.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver after-sales support to the regional corporate account team to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Review customer freight requests and select appropriate carriers to optimize logistics solutions
  • Prepare competitive pricing proposals for spot and regular quotation requests, maintaining accurate cost records
  • Compile and present data for Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to support strategic decision-making
  • Provide data management and administrative support to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and capitalize on revenue growth opportunities
  • Respond to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) from ‘All-round’ and ‘Specialized’ Freight Forwarders with up-to-date market-competitive prices
  • Conduct targeted market research on specific areas or verticals to inform pricing and business strategies
  • Assist in budget preparation and target setting exercises to align with business objectives

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a regional portfolio in the freight forwarding industry

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Prior experience in freight forwarding
