Regional Security Systems Lead

Purpose

Support Regional Security Director (RSDs) across the JAPAC region by providing technical leadership and project support for electronic security system initiatives. This role partners with regional teams, integrators, and Enterprise Security Systems to ensure security technology projects are planned effectively, align with enterprise standards, and are executed successfully across JAPAC sites.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Partner with Regional Security Directors to support planning and implementation of electronic security system initiatives across JAPAC sites.
  2. Engage early in project planning to help define technical requirements, system architecture considerations, and deployment strategies.
  3. Review integrator proposals, scopes of work, and technical system designs to improve solution quality and alignment with enterprise standards.
  4. Coordinate with Enterprise Security Systems to ensure regional initiatives align with global platforms, cybersecurity requirements, and lifecycle strategies.
  5. Support deployment of access control, video surveillance, and related security technologies across multiple facilities within the region.
  6. Collaborate with vendors and system integrators to ensure consistent system design, installation quality, and operational performance.
  7. Identify potential project risks, technical issues, and scope changes and work with stakeholders to resolve them effectively.
  8. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to regional security teams and site stakeholders.
  9. Maintain visibility into system lifecycle status, modernization opportunities, and technology performance across JAPAC locations.
  10. Support continuous improvement of security technology practices by sharing lessons learned and contributing to enterprise initiatives.
  11. Standard office environment with site/field visits. On-call availability for critical go-live or outage support as needed. Occasional off-hours work for cutover/commissioning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science or related field required. MBA is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of progressive security related project managerial experience. Track record of delivering enterprise deployments/upgrades.
  • Demonstrated skill to prepare project related documentation, such as the user specification, project proposals, business cases, project schedules, financial justification, workflow, DFD, and RFP is required.
  • Review and or mark up prints related to the project.
  • Advance knowledge and skill of Security systems/ technology such as Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon etc. Application programing background is preferable.
  • System architect skill and experience are preferable. Vender management is required.
