Regional Support Assistant
The Regional Support Assistant provides administrative support to regional leadership, promoting consistency, communication, and alignment across multiple locations. This role partners closely with the Regional Community Bank Manager, Regional President, and Location Managers to support reporting and KPI visibility, coordinate travel, expenses, events, and employee activities, and assist with community engagement efforts, including CRA tracking and financial literacy initiatives. This position also supports regional marketing efforts by coordinating event promotions, sponsorship visibility, and communication materials in partnership with internal teams. In addition, the role helps ensure locations remain well supported by coordinating vendors, supplies, and reporting needs
KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Regional Reporting & Leadership Support:
- Compile, proof, and distribute monthly board reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain and distribute the regional dashboard, tracking KPIs (e.g., deposit growth, sales, service metrics) with strong version control.
- Prepare and submit travel and expense reports for leadership in compliance with policy and timelines.
- Provide day-to-day administrative coordination to support leadership effectiveness and decision-making.
2. Events, Sponsorships & Communication:
- Plan and execute regional events, sponsorships, and employee engagement activities from concept through follow-up.
- Assist with regional marketing initiatives by supporting promotional communications, event marketing and sponsorship visibility efforts.
- Draft communications, including invitations, agendas/run-of-show, and post-event summaries.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, materials, and day-of facilitation.
- Track events and sponsorship expenses against budget and maintain a centralized tracking ledger.
3. Community Engagement & CRA Support:
- Maintain and monitor the regional CRA activity log, including service hours, outreach, and partnerships.
- Identify gaps in CRA activity and facilitate follow-up with leaders to ensure alignment with goals.
- Coordinate financial literacy programming with schools, nonprofits, and community partners.
- Support delivery of community outreach initiatives, including materials, scheduling, and facilitator coordination.
4. Vendor & Employee Support:
- Manage branch supplies, vendor relationships, and maintenance logs to ensure locations are well supported.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, including technology, badges, and training schedules for new hires.
- Support employee travel and training logistics, including scheduling and materials coordination.
- Maintain employee roster, milestones, and recognition programs (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries)
- Provide logistical and program support for Regional President initiatives, including sponsorship tracking and approvals.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of administrative or executive support preferably in a multi-location environment
- Proven ability to support senior leaders and manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Experience compiling reports, tracking KPIs, and managing data with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, including event planning and logistics management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for reporting and tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels.
- Experience coordinating vendors, budgets, and operational support needs.
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs and act proactively
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations (e.g., 6-8 hours with breaks).
- Occasionally required to stand or walk short distances.
- Manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse and telephone system.
- Visual acuity to read computer screens and written documents.
- Occasionally lifting office supplies, files and small packages (typically up to 10-25 lbs.)
- Ability to hear and understand spoken communication, including customer (internal and external) inquiries and phone conversations.
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood in person and over the phone.
