Role: VP Affiliate Growth Consultation – Eastern Region

Executive Summary

The Vice President, Affiliate Growth is a critical leadership role responsible for driving long-term growth, retention, and market expansion across the Century 21 network. This executive will serve as a trusted advisor to affiliate ownership groups, leveraging deep industry expertise, executive presence, and sophisticated relationship management capabilities to accelerate growth, optimize network performance, and strengthen franchise value.

The successful candidate will lead the organization's affiliate growth strategy for the Eastern Region, oversee a portfolio of complex franchise renewals, and direct seller strategy initiatives for companies considering acquisitions, mergers, succession planning, or ownership transitions. This leader will influence key business decisions at the executive and ownership levels, navigate high-stakes negotiations, and partner across the enterprise to deliver sustainable growth and long-term competitive advantage.

While the role is fully remote and requires up to 25% travel, periodic travel to the Madison, NJ headquarters is expected to facilitate executive engagement, cross-functional leadership, and strategic planning activities.


Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Growth Strategy & Network Expansion

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for affiliate growth, retention, and expansion across the Century 21 network, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and long-term business priorities.
  • Drive organic and inorganic growth initiatives, including recruiting, market expansion, merger and acquisition opportunities, succession planning, and strategic consolidations.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to affiliate owners and executive leadership teams, providing strategic counsel on growth, profitability, operational effectiveness, and market positioning.
  • Build and leverage executive-level relationships to influence outcomes, strengthen brand loyalty, and maximize affiliate engagement and performance.
  • Anticipate emerging business opportunities and risks, proactively developing strategies that position the network for continued growth and competitiveness.
  • Establish measurable growth objectives and performance metrics while maintaining executive-level visibility into key initiatives, pipelines, renewals, and business outcomes.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of senior growth professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Franchise Renewals, M&A & Seller Strategy

  • Own the strategic direction and execution of all franchise renewals, leading highly complex negotiations that protect enterprise value, maximize retention, and strengthen long-term affiliate partnerships.
  • Lead seller strategy initiatives for affiliates pursuing acquisition, divestiture, succession, or growth opportunities, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with affiliate owners, legal, finance, and executive leadership to structure and execute sophisticated business transactions and negotiations.
  • Direct annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management activities associated with renewals, seller strategy, funding, and retention initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Franchise Sales leadership to identify acquisition targets, independent conversion opportunities, and strategic growth opportunities within the marketplace.
  • Ensure a world-class affiliate experience by orchestrating executive engagement strategies that deepen relationships and reinforce the value of the Century 21 brand.

Executive Leadership & Brand Influence

  • Represent the Century 21 brand as a senior executive with credibility and influence among large brokerage owners, industry leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for the brand through executive presentations, industry conferences, affiliate events, prospect engagements, and leadership forums.
  • Influence and align affiliate business objectives with broader corporate priorities, creating shared value and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Champion affiliate participation in strategic initiatives, training programs, products, services, and brand investments designed to enhance performance and growth.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across the organization to ensure the delivery of integrated solutions that support affiliate success.

Strategic Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Leverage advanced analytics, market intelligence, and financial insights to shape growth strategies, support decision-making, and identify opportunities for value creation.
  • Translate complex business and market data into actionable strategies and executive-level recommendations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize performance metrics and predictive insights to drive accountability, improve outcomes, and guide strategic investments across the affiliate network.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within real estate brokerage, franchising, business development, corporate strategy, or related fields, including significant experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success driving enterprise growth, franchise expansion, retention, mergers and acquisitions, and complex business negotiations.
  • Deep understanding of brokerage operations, franchise business models, ownership succession, and market growth strategies; franchise experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional financial acumen with demonstrated expertise in P&L management, valuation concepts, business planning, and investment analysis.
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders, owners, and boards through strong relationship management, negotiation, and strategic consulting skills.
  • Outstanding executive presence with demonstrated success presenting to large audiences and representing organizations at senior leadership levels.
  • Data-driven leader with experience leveraging analytical tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI) to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and reside near a major airport.
