REGISTERED NURSE
The Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing clinical care, ensuring quality standards, and providing training and support to staff serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This role ensures that nursing practices are compliant with applicable state and federal regulations, enhances staff competence through education, and supports best practices in health care delivery to optimize the health, dignity, and quality of life of the people we serve.
Monitor and evaluate the delivery of nursing and health-related services within InCommunity’s IDD programs to ensure compliance with care plans, medication administration, treatment protocols, and safety standards.

Conduct nursing assessments, audits, and reviews (medical charts, medication records, incident reports) to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.

Collaborate with attending physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other clinical professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Oversee medication management, including policies and procedures, ensuring proper storage, administration, documentation, and audit compliance.
•
Be available for consultation/advice to staff on complex health issues, clinical emergencies, and care coordination.
