About the Clinic
City Doctors Palmerston North is a well-established clinic providing both urgent care and enrolled general practice services. As the only urgent care provider in the region, you’ll experience a diverse clinical environment, where no two days are the same.
Conveniently located on Victoria Avenue, the clinic offers:
- On-site X-ray, pharmacy, and dental services

Open 7 days a week (8:00am – 8:00pm), we provide accessible, high-quality care to patients and whānau across the region.
About the Role
We’re seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (0.8 FTE) to deliver both urgent care and general practice nursing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient triage and clinical care planning
- Managing long-term conditions and preventative care
- Supporting mental health and health screenings
- Collaborating with clinical and admin teams
- Maintaining accurate patient records
What You’ll Bring
- Current NZNC APC
- Experience in general practice or urgent care (preferred, not essential)
- Vaccinator and cervical smear certification (advantageous)
- Medtech experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Cultural competency and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
