Registered Nurses - Procedural (Midland Private)

This is an exciting opportunity to join St John of God Midland Private Hospital at the opening of the hospital in August 2026. We are seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to help shape high-quality patient care within a modern, purpose-built environment.

You will be part of a founding clinical team, contributing to the establishment of best practice models of care while delivering safe, effective and patient centred critical care services.

Successful applicants will hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and have recent procedural experience. You will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and possess well developed communication, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

A strong understanding of relevant legislation, professional standards and codes of practice is essential along with a clear commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. You will bring a patient focused, quality driven approach to care and consistently deliver high standards of clinical practice.

Roles are available across a range of procedural areas:

  • Main theatre - Scrub/Scout

  • Main theatre - PACU

  • Main theatre - Anaesthetics

  • Endoscopy

  • Day Procedure Unit/DOSA

  • Cardiac Cath Lab

You will hold current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and demonstrate the clinical knowledge and skills required to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

To succeed you will have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction.


About the new Midland Private Hospital

  • A brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus.

  • A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region


The hospital will feature:

  • 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit

  • 33 bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit

  • Eight operating theatres

  • An Angiography Suite


We can offer you:

  • Salary: $82,945 to $106,629 per annum, (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation

  • Casual hourly rate: $39.75 to $67.24, including casual loading

  • Permanent part time and casual positions

  • Close to public transport or Travel Green Allowance – if you walk, carpool or use public transport you could be eligible for up to $1,500 per year
