Registrar
St. John Paul II Academy, serving students in grades 6-12 in Corpus Christi,TX, is seeking a full-time Registrar to manage student information systems and official academic records for the Academy. The Registrar serves as the central steward of student records, enrollment documentation, transcripts, attendance records, academic reporting, and student data systems.
This position supports the academic mission of the Academy by ensuring that student records are accurate, secure, complete, and maintained in accordance with school, diocesan, and applicable reporting requirements. The Registrar works closely with Academy leadership, admissions, counselors, faculty, athletics, and the finance and operations office.
Ministerial Character:
The Diocesan Bishop is the visible principle and foundation of unity at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and School. In order to fulfill his mission, the Diocesan Bishop employs suitable, chosen collaborators, who are clerics, religious, and lay people. Each position employed in the Diocese of Corpus Christi helps to extend the ministry of the Diocesan Bishop in particular ways as outlined in the job duties and responsibilities. Therefore, this position is closely connected to and assists the Diocesan Bishop in the performance of his ministry and thereby engages in ministry for the church. When this is a full-time position, the employee is eligible for medical insurance and other benefits offered by the Diocese of Corpus Christi.

- As an integral part of ministry for the Church, this position will support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic ministry and the mission of the Diocese of Corpus Christi in both professional and personal life
- Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Continuously grow in the ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities as directed
- Serve as the official custodian of student academic records
- Manage student enrollment, withdrawal, transfer, and admissions documentation
- Maintain accurate student demographic, academic, attendance, and enrollment data in FACTS
- Serve as a primary administrator for the student information system, including data integrity, reporting, troubleshooting, and user support
- Prepare and issue official transcripts and academic records
- Support verification of graduation requirements and academic standing
- Maintain and monitor attendance records and generate attendance reports for school leadership
- Support school leadership, counselors, faculty, athletics, and admissions with accurate student data and reports
- Manage required reporting through systems such as TREx, NCEA Databank, SEVIS, and other school or diocesan reporting processes
- Maintain strict confidentiality of student records and school information
- Support accreditation, institutional review, graduation preparation, and other administrative processes as assigned
