How you’ll contribute:

A Rehabilitation Therapy Manager leads rehabilitation services by overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, scheduling, and productivity standards. Ensures high-quality, evidence-based therapy delivery; collaborates with physicians and families; and maintains departmental compliance with applicable inspections and policies.

  • Perform appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observe/evaluate treatments and recommend changes to the physician as needed.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develop teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involve families as appropriate and evaluate learning effectiveness.

  • Assess pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact the physician for appropriate intervention.

  • Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain departmental productivity standards.

  • Ensure compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Current state licensure/certification as RPT and/or Speech Pathologist, or OTR certified by NBCOT; current BCLS certification.

  • At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.

  • Proficient clinical assessment and treatment planning; knowledge of rehab modalities; pain assessment/management coordination; effective teaching and family engagement; scheduling and productivity management; strong communication, teamwork, and documentation accuracy.
