Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Working within the Property Finance team, you will work with Property Finance Relationship Managers to provide credit and financial analytical expertise on a portfolio of Property Finance accounts. You will demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the Property Finance customers, their business, and their industry providing effective complex deal support through accurate and thorough analysis.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of customers, their businesses, and industries to support Relationship Managers.
Identify opportunities to increase product penetration and support new business development.
Attend customer meetings and contribute to account planning.
Complete accurate, concise, and well-structured credit submissions within agreed timeframes.
Monitor portfolio risk, triggers, covenants, and conduct periodic reviews.
Review loan arrears and excess reports, proactively identify risks, and implement remedial actions.
Conduct account maintenance and annual reviews to ensure portfolio health.
Act as an alternate contact for customer enquiries and requests.
Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to meet all regulatory requirements.

Experience in financial analysis and credit with strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and credit risk. You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and ownership of output.
A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance, knowledge of banking products, legal documentation and the New Zealand market; combined with a commercial understanding of New Zealand’s business and economic environment would ensure you are a standout candidate.
