The team

You will join a successful UK Desk team in Zurich currently comprising three Relationship Managers and two Assistants, working together to cover and service UK-domiciled private banking clients. The team collaborates closely with internal partners (e.g. Compliance, Operations, Investment Specialists, Credit and Onboarding) to deliver consistent, timely and client-focused outcomes.


What you’ll do

Client support & service

  • Support RMs in the day-to-day servicing of UK-domiciled clients, ensuring timely responses and high service standards

  • Prepare meeting materials (agenda, portfolio overviews, account information, follow-ups) and coordinate client meetings (in-person/virtual)

  • Act as a key point of contact for client queries and requests, escalating appropriately to the RM

Documentation, onboarding & controls

  • Coordinate client onboarding, account opening, KYC/AML refreshes and documentation collection in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation is complete, up to date and appropriately filed

  • Support periodic reviews and assist with audit/compliance requests where required

Operational coordination

  • Liaise with Operations and other internal teams to progress client instructions (e.g. payments, transfers, account maintenance, corporate actions queries), ensuring proper controls and timelines

  • Track and follow up open items, maintaining clear status updates for RMs and clients

  • Support transaction and account-related administrative tasks, including the preparation of standard forms and internal requests

Business support

  • Assist with pipeline management, reporting, and maintaining CRM updates (e.g. client contact notes, activities, tasks)

  • Contribute to team process improvements and help standardise ways of working across the desk

  • Provide cover for other Assistants within the UK Desk as needed

The Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications You Need

  • Experience in international (preferably UK market) Wealth Management/Private Banking environment

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders

  • High attention to detail, reliability, and a strong sense of ownership

  • Client-centric mindset with professional communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Comfort working in a regulated environment with strong adherence to controls and confidentiality

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), with German/French a plus

  • High proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI) is advantageous
