Relationship Officer (Gozo)

Role Overview:
This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in banking and financial services while delivering excellent customer experience. The successful candidate will act as a first point of contact for customers, support day-to-day branch operations, generate new business opportunities, and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for existing customers and prospects visiting the Gozo branch.
- Assist and respond to customer queries related to e-banking and retail services.
- Generate leads and actively contribute to new business development.
- Promote and cross-sell the bank’s products and services in line with customer needs.
- Work closely with team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform administrative and operational duties as required by the role.
- Stay up to date with financial news, industry best practices, and relevant legislation to effectively support customers.
- Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of Personal Banking.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to work under pressure and prioritise.
- A diploma or degree qualification in Banking & Finance would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English.
- Candidates with knowledge of the investment market will be given preference and or are willing to undertake a Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA).
