Position Overview

The Release Health & Delivery Governance Manager is responsible for improving operational visibility, governance alignment, and release-health reporting across enterprise delivery systems supporting ZAPP and ZPS platforms.

This role operates within Delivery Optimization and partners across Engineering, QA, Release Management, SRE/Incident Management, Platform Operations, and Operational Support to help improve release predictability, operational readiness, delivery stability, and cross-functional coordination throughout the release lifecycle.

The role focuses on operational telemetry synthesis, release-health reporting, governance visibility, and continuous delivery optimization by helping align fragmented operational signals across:

release execution
escaped defects
incidents/MIMs
retrospectives
deployment telemetry
and operational support workflows

into actionable operational insight and delivery-health visibility.

This is not a traditional QA management or release coordination role.
Engineering, QA, SRE, and Release Management teams remain accountable for execution within their operational domains.

The Release Health & Delivery Governance Manager serves as a complementary operational governance and delivery intelligence function focused on:

operational visibility
telemetry alignment
release-health trend analysis
governance reporting
cross-functional operational coordination
and continuous improvement of enterprise release-health practices.

The ideal candidate possesses strong systems-thinking, operational risk analysis, release governance, and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex operational telemetry into meaningful organizational insight and actionable delivery-health improvements.

Mission

Improve operational visibility and governance for enterprise release health across ZAPP and ZPS by helping standardize release-health reporting, telemetry alignment, operational readiness visibility, and cross-functional operational coordination.

This role exists to:

  • reduce reactive stabilization effort
  • improve release predictability
  • improve operational visibility
  • and help expose systemic delivery risks before they impact clients.

This is not a traditional QA management or release coordination role.

This is an operational governance and delivery intelligence function within Delivery Optimization focused on improving operational visibility and alignment across the release lifecycle.
