Job Summary
Support teachers by preparing lessons and co-teaching while assisting autism students with self-care and toileting. Collect behavioral and progress data and collaborate on classroom management and behavior plan implementation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson materials to support teachers in delivering effective co-teaching sessions
- Assist autism students with self-care tasks including grooming and toileting to promote independence
- Collect and record simple behavioral and progress data of students to aid teachers’ assessments
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement student behavior plans and monitor lesson progress
- Support classroom management by working with teachers to maintain a positive learning environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels / ITE qualification
- Experience working with children and youths with autism
