Research engineer
About the Role
We are seeking motivated Research Engineers to join our team working on advanced technologies in piezoelectric materials and ultrasound systems. This role offers hands-on experience in cutting-edge research and development, contributing to innovative solutions for sensing and imaging applications.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates may contribute to one or more of the following areas:
- Materials Development: Design, fabricate, and characterize piezoelectric materials and composites. Optimize material properties for ultrasound transducer performance.
- Sensor Hardware Development: Develop and assemble ultrasound transducers and sensor prototypes. Perform electrical and acoustic testing of devices.
- Software Development: Implement signal processing algorithms for ultrasound data acquisition. Develop control and visualization software for sensor systems.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Mechatronics Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Strong interest in piezoelectric materials, ultrasound technology, and sensor systems.
- Experience in any of the following is a plus: Hardware prototyping and electronics. Programming (Python, C++, MATLAB).Materials characterization (XRD, SEM, impedance analysis).
