Job Description

The postdoctoral position focuses on advanced research in robotic systems and embodied intelligent technologies, particularly robot multimodal perception, 3D scene understanding, vision-guided manipulation, and autonomous robotic operation in complex environments. Research topics include, but are not limited to, robotic multimodal perception and sensing, object pose estimation/tracking, robotic closed-loop manipulation, intelligent robotic platforms, and integrated perception-planning-control systems. The appointee will be responsible for conducting high-impact research, developing robust robotic perception and manipulation systems, building and validating robotic platforms in real-world scenarios, publishing in top-tier journals and conferences, supporting research proposal preparation, and mentoring junior students.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Robotics, Control Science and Engineering, Automation, or related disciplines.

Candidates with prior postdoctoral research experience will be preferred.

Applicants should demonstrate strong expertise in robotic systems, with experience in one or more of the following areas: robot perception, 3D machine vision, object pose estimation/tracking, vision-guided manipulation, autonomous robotic systems, or perception-planning-control integration.

Hands-on ability in robotic platform development, system integration, experimental validation, programming, and real-world deployment is highly desirable.
