Job Description

The successful candidate will work with A/Prof Utkur Mirsaidov on exciting research nanoscience projects using cutting-edge in-situ high-resolution transmission electron microscopic techniques (TEM). The project is in direct collaboration with Applied Materials

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Performing in situ and operando Electron Microscopy studies.
  • Responsible for micro- and nanofabrication, process developments and improvements, device characterization.
  • The candidate will be the link between semiconductor industry collaborators.
  • Since the candidate will be working in an international and multicultural environment, fluency in English and good people skills are essential.

Training provided:

  • Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)
  • Micro and Nanofabrication processes
  • Materials synthesis

Qualifications

Ph.D. in one of the following disciplines: Physics, Engineering, Materials Science.

Skills:

  • Main: Electron Microscopy, Solid programming skills with experience in Python/Matlab/
  • Bonus: Microfabrication experience.
  • Possess great interpersonal and communication skills, hard-working, and not afraid of challenges
