RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
- Conduct high-quality research on video deepfake detection.
- Generating/Collecting video deepfake data.
- Implementing deep learning related programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on video deepfake detection or video analysis.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in video analysis.
- Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and C++ will be positively considered/ is required.
- Proven track record and professional experience in computer vision.
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on video analysis.
- Excellent working knowledge of video analysis.
- Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
- Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
- Applicants with strong research publications in deepfake detection area will be advantageous.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
