RESTAURANT AREA MANAGER
Responsibilities
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple restaurant locations and teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to address them.
- Conduct market analysis and develop promotional/marketing ideas with marketing team to improve sales and drive customer traffic to the restaurants.
- Take on HR roles such as coaching restaurant managers and being more involved with HQ on the training needs of restaurant staff to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial and operational data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure the strict compliance by all staff to company’s standard operating procedures.
- To work closely and cultivate strong teamwork with all colleagues and ensure smooth operations
- Any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience, including experience managing multiple locations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze financial data and develop action plans to address issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, and senior management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing cost.
- In-depth knowledge of the restaurant industry, including trends, best practices, and regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in computer software applications such as MS Office, POS systems, and inventory management software.
