RESTAURANT ASSISTANT MANAGER
· Assist Restaurant Manager and effectively manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
· Responsible for managing the daily operations of restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees.
· Direct staff through their daily routines and interact with customers to make sure that they have a satisfactory experience.
· Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs. Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts.
· Direct hiring, supervision, development and, when necessary, termination of employees.
· Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
· Take orders & serve food and beverages to patrons at table in a dining establishment.
· Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
· Operation of cash registers.
· And any other adhoc duties.
