Restaurant Manager
We are looking for a motivated & responsible Restaurant Manager to join our team in managing our outlet at Jurong in all functions of the business.
Job Description
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant
- Assist in optimizing the revenue and overall profitability of the Restaurant
- Accountable for the daily settlements and ensuring all expenses are accurately recorded
- Documentation of sales and operation reports, as well as collating summary of monthly financial reports to monitor sales performance
- Facilitate compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements including renewal of licenses
- Evaluate & suggest improvements to enhance productivity and performance
- Rostering of staff schedule for full utilization of manpower and labour cost control
- Manage recruitment, training, motivation and discipline of all FOH employees
- Ensure strict employee compliance to SOPs, sanitation and safety standards
- Assist in responding to enquiries on company’s social media platforms
- Confer & negotiate packages offered to corporate/private event clients (e.g. Weddings)
- Handle customer complaints professionally and take appropriate corrective actions for service recovery
Job Requirements
- Min. 2-3 years of managerial experience in F&B or relevant industry
- Must possess a valid Basic Food Hygiene Certification
- Experienced with Restaurant POS systems, Tablets and Terminals for Online/App orders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Adobe Photoshop is a plus)
- Strong command of written and oral English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, both oral & written
- A good team player with excellent leadership skills
- Organised and meticulous in all aspects of work
- Displays strong sense of integrity and professionalism
- High emotional intelligence & is able to handle stress or pressure calmly and rationally
- Able to start work in short notice
