Supervision Received: Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager / Food & Beverage Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.
- Knowledge of menu items, allergens, food preparation, and beverage options.
- Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.
- Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.
- Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.
- Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
