Restaurant Service Manager
Job Summary
You will provide excellent customer service and support daily restaurant operations by serving customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and attend to customers professionally and warmly to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Accurately take and process customer orders to ensure timely service
- Serve food and beverages promptly to customers to enhance their dining experience
- Clear and clean tables efficiently after customers leave to maintain a tidy environment
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas to comply with health regulations
- Respond to customer enquiries and basic requests to support customer satisfaction
- Assist with cashiering and payment processing when needed to facilitate smooth transactions
- Replenish condiments, utensils, and service items to ensure availability for customers
- Follow food safety and workplace safety regulations to ensure a safe environment
- Support team members with additional ad-hoc duties to contribute to overall restaurant operations
- Display leadership capabilities during restaurant operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in food and beverage or customer service roles is advantageous but not required
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays to meet operational needs
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours to perform job duties effectively
