Retail Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and staff scheduling.

  • Lead and mentor the retail team, ensuring high standards of service and product knowledge.

  • Conduct regular staff training on storytelling and the technical aspects of the product range.

  • Monitor KPIs (conversion rates, average transaction value) and implement strategies to meet sales targets.

  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure seamless stock replenishment.

  • Assist in the "in-house" content creation model by identifying storytelling opportunities on the floor.

  • Encourage the team to capture high-quality, organic visual content for social media platforms.

  • Manage local customer relationships and CRM data to drive repeat visits and brand loyalty.

  • Ensure the store remains compliant with Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and retail safety standards.

  • Handle administrative tasks, including inventory auditing and reporting on store performance to HQ.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within luxury skincare, fragrance, or high-end lifestyle sectors.

  • Communication: Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base and regional partners.
