Retail Associate/Customer Service Associate

• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently to record, accept, and verify payments (Cash, NETS, Credit Cards, and Digital Wallets).
• Proactively share product knowledge with customers (e.g., origin of food items, cooking tips, or best-sellers).
• Recommend complementary products or current "Purchase-with-Purchase" (PWP).
• Introduce new product arrivals or seasonal specials to customers during the checkout process.
• Greet customers warmly, handle inquiries about product availability, and manage basic feedback or returns professionally.
• Stay updated on current store promotions, member loyalty programs, and seasonal discounts to advise customers accurately.
• Assist in replenishing stocks on shelves and ensuring products are displayed according to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cashier counter and surrounding retail floor.
• Perform cash float verification at the start of shifts and daily cash/credit settlements at the end of the day.

Requirements

• Proficiency in both English , Chinese and Malay
• to assist a diverse range of customers.
• Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent.
• Good with simple math and basic computer use
• Confident in talking to people and good at suggesting items to customers.
• Must be able to carry loads up to 25kg for stock replenishment.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and Public Holidays.Friendly, helpful, and enjoys interacting with different people every day
