Retail Events Coordinator
What You’ll Do
As Retail Events Coordinator, you will serve as a key connector between brand, field, marketing, creative, and store teams. You will help ensure that every store opening, event, and activation is thoughtfully planned, clearly communicated, and successfully executed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage end-to-end project planning and execution for retail events and activations, including new store openings, remodels, renovations, and registry events across Pottery Barn brands and West Elm.
- Build and maintain detailed project timelines, milestones, task trackers, and communication plans to keep cross-functional teams aligned and accountable.
- Coordinate store communications, marketing materials, signage, creative assets, social content, event collateral, and operational logistics.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Creative, Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, PR, Field Leadership, and store teams to deliver seamless execution.
- Support stores with clear, timely, and actionable communication so field teams are prepared to deliver an elevated customer experience.
- Help ensure events and openings reflect each brand’s standards, visual identity, and commitment to quality.
- Lead post-event recap processes, gathering feedback, analyzing results, identifying learnings, and recommending improvements for future initiatives.
- Track project performance, risks, and dependencies while proactively communicating updates, opportunities, and next steps.
- Act as a brand and store advocate, helping translate corporate strategies into meaningful in-store experiences.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to analyze feedback and results to improve future execution.
- Proficiency with project tracking tools, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or related platforms preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
