Retail Stock Associate
Receives, stores, issues, delivers, ships and accounts for retail merchandise in Northern Nevada.
- Receives shipments in a timely manner
- Transports merchandise from the receiving dock to store locations
- Receives, unpacks and puts away or transfers the daily delivery of merchandise
- Ensures that all necessary supplies are delivered to the stores (bags, tissue, bubble wrap, etc)
- Receives materials from common carriers and suppliers. Inspects and counts incoming materials; verifies against order for correctness and condition. Reports any deviations to Retail Supervisor
- Stores materials in warehouses and obtains proper paperwork authorizing storage form other departments for non-inventory assets.
- Participates in stock room cleanliness by dusting and keeping all areas neat and uncluttered
- Fills orders and issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition or transfer request.
- Verifies correctness of orders with receiving departments and obtains authorized signature.
- Assists in inventory counts of all materials.
- Obtains required signatures on receipts and bills of lading and maintains required reports and records.
- Makes special deliveries and pickups as assigned.
- Maintains stock levels, requisitioning products from the Warehouse and outside purveyors to maintain highest level of guest satisfaction as assigned by shift supervisor.
- Helps out in Gift shop when needed for breaks
- Assist with PPJ events
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Literate and fluent in basic English
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to bend, crouch, turn, and reach overhead.
- Ability to respond to visual and verbal cues
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and cash registers
- Ability to stand on hard floors
- Mobility to move about the work area
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to lift overhead and climb a ladder for stocking purposes
- Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment
