The James J. Peters VA Medical Center is seeking a Rheumatologist to be an integral part of the Rheumatology Service at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center. The incumbent applicant should possess leadership, energy, compassion, and commitment to serve those who serve our Country.

The James J. Peters Bronx VA Medical Center is seeking a Rheumatologist. Responsibilities will include the provision of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with rheumatologic disorders; performance of bedside musculoskeletal ultrasound; and supervision of Rheumatology fellows, Internal Medicine residents and medical students. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in clinical research projects already underway, and to develop new initiatives. The James J Peters VAMC is a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Medical Center, and the candidate will be appointed at Columbia-Presbyterian at an academic level commensurate his or her experience. The candidate must have completed fellowship training in Rheumatology, and be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology. He/she must have a full, unrestricted medical license in any state. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. VHA Physician Total Rewards.
