Overview:Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for Experienced RNs | $15,000 for New Graduates

Position Overview
Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring Registered Nurses for our Cardiac Telemetry unit. This role is ideal for nurses interested in cardiac care, acute care nursing, and advancing clinical skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Cardiac Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for cardiac and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families on cardiac health and recovery
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Unit Details – Cardiac Telemetry
35-bed cardiac telemetry unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
Patient care support provided by PCAs
Common Diagnoses and Conditions:
ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI)
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
Cardiac arrhythmias
Hypertension and blood pressure management
Stroke care
Post-cardiac catheterization recovery
Minimum Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact license)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 30 days)
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in telemetry, cardiac care, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing
Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
