We are looking for a Software QA Engineer who is passionate about technology and takes pride in delivering high-quality software for complex, real-world systems. In this role, you will take ownership of the testing and release processes that ensure our robots always perform reliably.
Set things in motion.
- You will ensure that every release meets our high standards for performance, safety, and stability.
- You work closely with our development team to design, implement, execute and maintain the release QA procedures for our products.
- You share the responsibility for quality in all features released and help the team improve the testing and release processes.
- You analyze, troubleshoot and report complex and fascinating problems before they reach our customer’s facilities.
- You improve our software quality framework by automating integration tests, functional hardware-in-the-loop tests, and robot performance tests.
Use your skills.
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in robotics, IT, mechatronics, mechanical and production engineering or similar.
- You have a strong understanding of Linux, Python and/or C++.
- You already gained experience with robotic and/or embedded software development.
- You have a basic understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, networks, IT and Linux.
- You are proactive, independent, and love working in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on mentality.
- You care deeply about software quality and take pride in working with technology that allows building reliable systems.
- You bring some knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Nice to have:
First experience with software testing and hardware-in-the-loop testing
Experience with Jenkins or similar build automation tools, software deployment concepts - You are fluent in English
