Robotics Software Development Engineer II

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Robotics Software Development team. The role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining robotics software systems used in production environments. The candidate will work on system integration, debugging, and enhancement of robotic software stacks, ensuring reliable real\-world performance.<\/span>

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/div>
  • Develop, test, and deploy robotics software modules for production systems<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Support setup and configuration of software stacks on robots<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, configuration, and runtime issues<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Contribute to development tasks with increasing ownership over time<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams for system integration<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Debug and optimize robotic behaviours in real\-world environments<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned modules and features<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain clear documentation of workflows, architecture, and changes<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Support knowledge transfer and assist junior engineers when required<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    Technical Skills<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/div>
    • Strong hands\-on with ROS 1 and ROS 2 frameworks<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proficient in C++ (C++11/14/17) with good knowledge of Python<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in robotics domains including navigation, localization, sensor fusion, and AI\-based models<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proficiency in Linux operating systems<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in robotics or related industry environments preferred<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Exposure to hardware\-software integration in robotics systems (preferred)<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
