As the <\/span><\/span>Rolling Stock Mechanic<\/span>, you<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>will be a vital member at one of our Alaskan processing facilities<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>responsible for <\/span><\/span>maintaining<\/span> <\/span>and repairing <\/span><\/span>various types<\/span> <\/span>of rolling stock, such as <\/span><\/span>Flatbeds<\/span>,<\/span> <\/span>Forklift<\/span>s<\/span>, and company vehicl<\/span>es<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You <\/span><\/span>will <\/span><\/span>be responsible for<\/span> <\/span>diagnos<\/span>ing<\/span> <\/span>and troubleshoot<\/span>ing any<\/span> <\/span>mechanical and electrical problems, <\/span><\/span>per<\/span>forming<\/span> <\/span>routine maintenance tasks, and <\/span><\/span>ensuring<\/span> <\/span>the safety and reliability of rolling stock equipment.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Your <\/span><\/span>expertise<\/span> <\/span>in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues will be essential in keeping our equipment operational and minimizing downtime.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>

Ensure adherence to all State and Federal regulations <\/span><\/span>pertaining to<\/span> <\/span>rolling stock maintenance and <\/span><\/span>operation.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>

P<\/span>osition requires driven machinery certifications such as a forklift, <\/span><\/span>expeditor<\/span> <\/span>or flatbed truck which in turn requires a valid driver\u2019s license.\u202f<\/span><\/span> <\/span>

3 years of forklift mechanic experience in all aspects including electrical preferred.\u202f<\/span><\/span> <\/span>

Certifications in relevant areas, such as diesel engine mechanics or electrical maintenance, can enhance job prospects.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>

Previous <\/span>experience in Seafood or Manufacturing as receptionist or administrative role preferred.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>
