We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Room Attendant.
As a Room Attendant at Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness, comfort, and personalized service to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Representing the elegance and service excellence of both Raffles and Fairmont, you will take pride in maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest luxury hospitality standards, with meticulous attention to detail and care.
You will play an integral role in creating seamless and memorable stays for our guests by ensuring rooms are impeccably presented, guest preferences are thoughtfully attended to, and all interactions are handled with professionalism, warmth, and discretion. Working closely with the Housekeeping team, you will contribute to operational excellence and uphold the distinguished reputation of Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, corridors, and assigned public areas to the highest luxury hospitality standards.
- Ensure all rooms are impeccably presented, fully replenished, and prepared in accordance with Raffles and Fairmont brand standards.
- Provide personalized and courteous service to guests, responding promptly and professionally to guest requests and preferences.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost & found items in line with hotel procedures.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping Supervisors, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and guest amenities to confidently assist guests when required.
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment, linens, and guest supplies are handled responsibly and maintained in excellent condition.
- Adhere to cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times, following health and safety policies and procedures.
- Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality of guest information while delivering discreet and attentive service.
- Handle guest concerns and special requests professionally, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Support deep cleaning projects, turndown service, and additional housekeeping duties as assigned by management.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment while upholding the luxury service culture of Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha.
What will you bring to this role?
- Previous experience in Housekeeping or a similar role within a luxury hotel environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Ability to handle guest interactions professionally, courteously, and with discretion.
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently while maintaining operational excellence.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety standards preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow departmental policies and brand standards consistently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and multicultural team environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
